Gavrosh Qatipi, 68, of Worcester died Wednesday, December 23rd at home surrounded by his loving family after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 40 years of marriage, Teuta (Kaso) Qatipi; a son, Enxhi Qatipi of Worcester; a brother, Gazmentt Qatipi and his wife, Renata; a sister, Dhurata Delilaj and her husband, Gezim all of Albania; two nephews, David Qatipi and his wife, Sara of Worcester and Kliti Delilaj of France; and a niece, Dea Qatipi and husband, Michele Cancelli of Italy.
He was born in Albania the son of Faik and Burbuqe (Qafmolla) Qatipi and immigrated to the United States in 2012. He worked for T.J. MAXX distribution for several years. He had a passion for art, reading, cooking and dancing.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, December 30th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be on Tuesday, December 29th from 5:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
