SPENCER: Lillian A. (Connor) Harrington, 105, formerly of 6 Main Street, passed away peacefully, on Friday December 18, 2020, at Heritage Hall Nursing Facility in Agawam MA.
She was the wife of John F. Harrington who died in 1970. Lillian was predeceased by her sisters Pat Marsden, Doris Honey, Hazel Duquette, Beatrice Reavey and her brother Charles Connor.
Lillian was born in Spencer on May 9, 1915 to the late Edward and Lillian (Hoyte) Connor. Lillian lived the majority of her life in Spencer. She attended the original David Prouty High School. She previously worked at the former Klevin Shoe Company in Spencer and was a billing clerk at Dario Diesel in Worcester, prior to retiring in 1971. Lillian was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Her faith was very important to her.
Lillian is survived by three grandchildren, Randall (Barbara) Harrington of Feeding Hills, MA, Cynthia (Randy) Kay of West Brookfield and Kathleen (Richard) Parsons of North Brookfield. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren; Nicholas Harrington, Christopher Harrington,
Michael Harrington, Randall Harrington, Mathew Turner, Ashley Hubach and Brenden Parsons,
two great great grandsons and three great great granddaughters, many nieces and nephews.
Lillian’s life revolved around her cherished grandchildren and extended family. Lillian was a very devoted grandmother, known to everyone as "Nana". She leaves her family with many wonderful memories, too many to be included here. Lillian "Nana" will be truly missed and in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Mass in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Spencer and burial in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, 46 Maple St., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
