In Boston, December 15, 2020, Carol A. (Poudrier) Perry, daughter of the late Armand and Mary (McSweeney) Poudrier died with her loving family by her side at St Elizabeth’s Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Dighton, Carol was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1958 and also attended the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. Carol was a retired Social Worker for the Department of Children and Families in the Taunton area who as an adoption worker where she found many children their permanent home. She was a former Rainbow Girl and was active in the CABbies cancer group, Raynham singing group, Livestrong, YMCA and especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Carol had a very active lifestyle and loved all types of animals, theater, reading and traveling to Nova Scotia where her mother’s family came from. Carol was the mother of Robert Perry and his wife Cathy of Taunton, Troy Perry of Taunton, Erik Perry of Berkley and Mary Webber and her husband David of Bridgewater. Grandmother of Jonathan and Melanie Perry both of Taunton, Matthew Webber of Bridgewater, Henry and Sarah Perry both of Berkley. Great Grandmother of Joshua, Isaiah and Dream. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Sunday from 1-3 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
