Wanda E. (Rodrigues) Mossey, age 92, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard S. Mossey, Sr.
Born in Taunton, MA on November 7, 1928, she was a loving daughter of the late Edward and Georgiana (Gomes) Rodrigues.
Wanda grew up in Taunton and was a graduate of Taunton High School. Prior to retiring, she had worked as a cafeteria worker at Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical High School in Taunton.
Wanda loved spending time with her adoring family. Her hobbies included football, gardening, walking and collecting dolls.
She is survived by her devoted children: Nancy C. Ford of East Bridgewater, who was pre-deceased by her husband G. Douglas Ford, Wanda J. Petersen and her husband Richard of Palm Bay, Florida and Richard S. Mossey and his wife Cheryl of Palm Bay, Florida. She was the dear sister of the late Hilda, Tarvey, Angie, Valli and Ceasar. She is also survived by her loving 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, as well as nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her graveside funeral service on Monday, December 14th at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
