Obituary

Brownfield - Judy Ann Gagnon, 78, of Brownfield, Maine died at her home on December 7, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Kent, Maine on July 13, 1942 a daughter of Alfred and Julienne (Plourde) Levesque. She was educated in Northern Maine schools and is a graduate of Caribou High School.

Judy moved to Lawrence, Mass. where she married Robert A. Gagnon on April 27, 1963 and raised their two children while working for the Ratheon Corp. in Andover, Mass. for 30 years as a product mover.

After moving back to Maine and settling in Brownfield, she has been an active member of the Calvary Bible Church in Hiram. She spent a great deal of time reading God's word in scripture and serving the brothers and sisters of her church family. Judy also enjoyed cooking and visiting with family and friends. She loved being in and looking at the nature around her rural home in Brownfield. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Earline, and 3 brothers: George, Florian and O'Neil. She is survived by her husband, Robert Gagnon, her son, Christopher Gagnon, and her daughter, Debby Desroche and husband Rene, all of Brownfield; her sister, Geraldine Azzarelli of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Destiny and Hunter Desroche; many nieces and nephews; and her closest friend of 40+ years, Jean Cardillo.
