Obituary

Margaret "Peggy" (Campbell) Waldron, a 21 year resident of Stoneham and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. She was 98 years of age.

Peggy was born in Boston on June 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Dominic Campbell and Margaret (McLaughlin) Campbell. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Peggy worked as a Clerk in the Collector/Treasurers Office for the City of Boston and retired following 40 years of dedicated service. She was a member of The Old Charlestown Schoolgirls Association and a former Board Member for the City of Boston Credit Union.

Peggy is the loving sister of Veronica "Toodie" Castelli and her husband Evo and the late Sarah 'Sally" Walsh, Winifred "Winnie" Geysen, Thomas Campbell, James Campbell, John "Jocko" Campbell and Francis "Zip" Campbell. She is the dear aunt of her many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives & friends are invited to gather in the parking lot of The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown on Friday morning, December 11, 2020 beginning at 10:15 AM followed by Peggy's Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 AM. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE CHURCH)
