Ann G. Carangelo, age 92, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 in Medford after a brief illness. Born in Boston, Ann was a lifelong resident of Boston´s North End. Ann was the beloved daughter of the late Teresa (Sorrentino) & John Carangelo.
Ms. Carangelo worked for 50 years as a salesperson for Bonwit Teller Dept. Store in Boston. She retired in the mid 1980´s. Ann enjoyed visits from her family and regularly attended mass in the North End.
Ann was the loving sister of Florence Carangelo of the North End of Boston, Lena DeMinico of Needham, formerly of Winchester, Margaret Bova of Medford, Sofia “Toby” Koryta and her husband Donald of Cleveland, OH, Rita Nollett and her husband Edward of Stoneham and the late Vincent Carangelo. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 9. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
