Helen E. (Charpentier) Blanchette, 84, of Manchester died March 10, 2006 at the Courville at Manchester after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on March 8, 1922, she was the daughter of Charles and Marie (Rheaume) Charpentier. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Blanchette worked at Almy’s in Derry and Leavitt’s and Martin’s Hosiery both in Manchester for many years.
She was married to Wilfred C. Blanchette who died in 2004.
The family includes five sons, William C. Blanchette of Manchester, Daniel P. Blanchette of Concord, Richard A. Blanchette of Manchester, Charles D. Blanchette of Allenstown and Timothy J. Blanchette of Concord; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Charpentier of San Diego, CA and Richard Charpentier of Freemont, CA; three sisters, Paula Steiner of Derry, Genevieve Letendre of The Villages, FL and Evelyn Gilbert of Evergreen, CO; cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday March 14, 2006 in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
