Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Born in Chelsea and a graduate of Chelsea High School, Thomas, at 81 years of age, passed away at the Chelsea Soldiers Home, where he had been a resident receiving supportive care since December 30th of last year. An employee of the United States Postal Service for over 35 years, he worked as a letter carrier as well as a clerk in the Chelsea and Revere Post offices.
