Vanessa M. Kenney, age 35, passed away on Nov. 24, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on July 9, 1985 in Springfield, a daughter of the late James E. Kenney. She is survived by her mother Linda (Livingston) Kenney of Chicopee. Vanessa served In the US Army. She later worked as an employee specialist for People Ready and also as a recovery Specialist for BHN. Vanessa was a lover of sports and helping people. She had a big heart and was always helping everyone. She is also survived by her brother Isaiah Kenney of Chicopee and her sister Tiara Kenney of Chicopee along with many other extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She also loved her cats Tigger and Tori. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Thurs., Dec, 3, from 8:30 – 10:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Funeral Home Prayer Service at 10:00 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
