Obituary

Eric Mathis, 50, of Hyde Park, passed away Thursday, November 26,2020 Eric is survived by two sons Eric T. Mathis of Dedham and Kane T. Mathis of Dedham. Eric is also survived by a brother, Gary Mathis. In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a visitation will be held at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, on Friday December 11th from 5-8 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
Committal will be Private. Today we lost a father, brother, cousin friend and "Prophet" as he would say himself. Eric Mathis was a good person no matter the path in life he chose. He was just one of those very likeable people that walked the earth. The circumstances of his passing are very heartbreaking, I feel for my children the most of all because they are his legacies left behind. If it wasn't a pandemic we know his funeral would be overly packed, without a doubt standing room only!!!
My family would like to ask for whatever help anyone is able to give.
