WORCESTER, MA: Julia A. (Duggan) Plikunas, 83, died on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Hermitage Healthcare, 383 Mill St., after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Joseph Plikunas; three sons, Duane P. Plikunas and his wife Dana of Seminole, FL, Jeffrey J. Plikunas and his wife Ann of Worcester, Bruce Plikunas of Worcester; two brothers, Robert Duggan and Joseph Duggan; seven grandchildren, Heather, Jeffrey, Shawn, Eric, Sara, Dan, Brian; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph T. and Edith E. (Keizer) Duggan and was a life-long resident of the city.
Julia worked as a billing clerk at a doctor’s office for many years. She enjoyed playing the organ, long car rides and shopping. She will be remembered as the matriarch of the family.
After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. Kelly Funeral Home, 154 Lincoln St., is assisting with arrangements.
