CHICOPEE – Richard L. “Rick” Coville, Jr., 66, of East Longmeadow and a longtime resident of Holyoke, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 26, 1954, a beloved son of the late Richard L. Coville, Sr. and Mary (Wing) Coville. He was raised in Holyoke where he lived for most of his life. He was a self-employed painter working alongside his father, painting houses in the surrounding area. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed coloring during his leisure time. He leaves his two sisters, Sandra E. LaBarre and her husband, Lester, of Chicopee and Susan J. Goodall of Brady, TX; his three children and their families; and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. His funeral services will be private.
