Joseph “Scott” Lindsey, 56, of West Berrien passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. A graveside service will be held for Scott at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the Rutland Family Cemetery in Tifton, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Mickey Lindsey will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born September 26, 1964 in Cook County, Scott was the son of Carol Parker Lindsey of West Berrien and the late Jack Charles Lindsey.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife, Lawana Lindsey of West Berrien; one son, Josh Lindsey of West Berrien; one daughter, Makayla Lindsey of West Berrien; two step-sons, Brad Allen and Shannon Allen, both of Moultrie; two brothers, Walter Shane Lindsey and Charles David Lindsey, both of West Berrien; one sister, Melissa Carol Lindsey of Tifton; and five grandchildren, Jack Lindsey, Josalyn Lindsey, Colton Allen, Cadence Allen and Hannah Allen.
