Kathryn H. Skuza, 66, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, November 23, 2020, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Skuza was born September 27, 1954, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Theodore M. Hillyer and the late Eudelle Dunn Clark. She was a registered radiology technician having received her training at the Medical Center in Macon, where she worked for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She dearly loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by her pets Fitzgerald and Lucky.
She is survived by two sisters: Karen & Larry Talley of Statham and Joan & Wayne Register of Lake City, Florida; two brothers: Tommy & Sharon Roberts and Jimmy Roberts, all of Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews including: Curtis Hillyer, Lucas Hillyer and Kristin Talley; an uncle, Earl Lord of Florida; as well as numerous cousins and many other friends and adopted family she loved very much including Brandi & David Pendergrass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Hillyer and her grandparents, Mattie & Tom Lord.
