Rhode Island – Angel L. Rodriguez, age 56, of Providence, R.I. passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manhattan, New York he was the beloved son of Luis Angel Rodriguez and Teresita DeJesus Soto. Angel had worked in the maintenance department for both the Fall River and New Bedford School Department.
Angel had been a God-fearing man and was also very family oriented. He loved riding his bike and loved his music, especially Salsa music.
Angel is survived by his parents, Luis and Teresita; his 4 children, Kimberly Barboza, Kathy Barboza, Aaron “Angel Barboza” Dumoulin and Derek Rodriguez and his grandson, Levi Dumoulin.
He is also survived by his siblings, Marilyn Rodriguez, Marisol Silva, Aida Mateo, Cindy Rodriguez, Nanette Rodriguez, Leonel Rodriguez, Jessica Rodriguez, Elizabeth Andino and Yamilet Rodriguez; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Angel's visiting hours will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held on Monday morning, in the funeral home, beginning at 10:00 A.M. and followed with a service to take place at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private for the family only.
All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering at all times, to social distance 6 feet and to please refrain from any close physical contact. Attendance in the funeral home will be limited in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions and could result with a wait time outside of the funeral home.
