East Bridgewater - Janet D. (St. Germain) Rogers, 69, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Randolph, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at home after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was the wife of Fred D. Rogers.
Born June 24, 1936, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Henrietta (Cote) St. Germain.
Mrs. Rogers grew up in Roxbury and was a homemaker.
She had been a resident of East Bridgewater for the past 2.5 years, coming from Randolph, where she lived for 27 years.
In addition to her husband of 52 years, she is survived by her children, Frederick D. Rogers III, Katherine A. Rogers, Larry S. Rogers and Mark S. Rogers, all of East Bridgewater; her brothers, Roger St. Germain and Carroll St. Germain, both of Walpole, and William St. Germain of Randolph. Also survived by her grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Kelly and Frederick IV.
Her funeral will be held from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Monday at 9:15 am., followed by a funeral Mass in St. John Church at 10 am. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-7 pm. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
