Patricia (Barros) Pina, 80, of Dartmouth passed away Monday November 16, 2020 after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Guilherme “Jimmy” and Beatrice (Santos) Barros, she lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth for most of her life.
A very stylish individual, Patricia was formerly employed as a hairdresser, cosmetician, and esthetician. She was also a talented seamstress who enjoyed designing her own clothing.
She was a graduate of UMass Dartmouth with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas Pina, John Pina, Leonard Pina, and Wayne Pina; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 20, 2020 at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday morning from 9:30-11 AM prior to the service. Please be advised that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there are strict guidelines that must be adhered to for the safety of everyone. You MUST wear a mask to be allowed entry to the services. Please practice social distancing and avoid any close contact. Guests will be permitted to pay their respects and depart to allow the next guests to enter.
