Douglas Stevens Walker of Northbridge MA. Died 15 November 2020 in his sleep succumbing to an array of difficult illnesses. He requested no services and he hopes to be remembered well.
He is predeceased by parents Eleanor L Walker and Robert J Walker. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife, Yurima and step-son Christian. He also survived by brother Alan and wife Alice of Durango CO and Alan's children Naomi of Tampa FL, and Justin of Colorado Springs CO. Also survived by brother David and wife Susan of Aiken SC and children Derek Demio of Aiken SC, Lisa Walker of Westfield MA, Mark Walker of Bluffton SC, Devon Lemier of Burlington VT.
Douglas will be greatly missed, he struggled with health issues for several years beating cancer twice but tolls were taken and gradually lost to the final illness. He attained an MBA, worked in accounting for HUD, held a CFO position till his health prevented continuing. He was an accomplished 9-ball player and an active competitor all around New England. Loved jazz music, singing karaoke and cooking. He loved St John USVI, where he and Yurima became engaged. He was known to show up at family functions with rented exotic cars. Loved to sail with Dave, and drive racecars with Alan. Doug, your spirit, love and compassion is already missed. Be calm my brother, you deserve a rest.
