Annette Lewis Harrell, 83, of Rebecca, Georgia, died Friday, November 13, 2020, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, November 16, 2020, at Rebecca Baptist Church in Rebecca with Bro. Eric Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Harrell was born September 7, 1937, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Lonnie Thomas & Lillie Mae McLemore Lewis. She worked at the Fitzgerald Cotton Mill and the cotton gin in Rebecca. She was also a cashier for Shop-n-Go in Rebecca and Honey Bear in Ashburn and worked as an aide at the nursing home in Ashburn. She loved to fish and enjoyed cooking. She played softball and loved her whole family with her whole heart. She was a member of Rebecca Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Beverly Dianne Murphy & Ellison Eugene Murphy of Rebecca, John Thomas Harrell & Heather Anne Harrell of Fitzgerald, Donald Wayne Harrell & Peggy Rewak of Callahan, Florida, and Janet Minshew & Samuel Minshew of Rebecca; grandchildren: Christopher Shawn Harrell, Beverly Michelle Murphy Ross & Joel, John Wesley Harrell & Beth, Felecia Ann Register & Matt, Josh Harrell, Jack Harrell, Noah Harrell, Serena Monk & Josh, Thomas Alex Harrell, Leo Hernandez, Sheena Nicole Long & Kevin, Bo Taylor Harrell, Samuel Craig Minshew & Cora, Brandi Minshew & Marquis Jackson, and Tracey Mitchell & Nelson; 32 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Lewis & Debbie of Rebecca. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Harrell; a son, Bobby Eugene Harrell; a brother and a sister.
