Obituary

Marian “Tweet” (Fraser) Brudzisz, 96, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at her daughter’s home after a period of declining health. She was born in Fall River, MA on July 22, 1924, and was raised in Enfield, NH. Marian was the widow of the late Stanley Brudzisz and lived in Derry since 1941. Marian was employed by Western Electric in N. Andover, MA, and had worked in a defense plant at Clifford’s Mfg. in South Boston, MA during WWII.

Marian was the daughter of Beatrice (McAuley) Fraser and Aubrey Roy Fraser of Moncton, Canada. She was the granddaughter of the missionary Dr. Simon Alexander Fraser, who was very well known throughout Canada, British West Indies and British Columbia. Marian’s interests were in family history and its heritage, making ceramics, photography and traveling. Marian cherished her trips to Hawaii, Canada, Bermuda, Scotland and in particular visiting Castle Fraser located in Kemnay.

Marian is survived by her devoted daughter, Debra Webster of Derry; and leaves behind three granddaughters, Tamra Snyder of Bedford, NH, Kimberly Mitchell of Hudson, NH, and Jennifer Cummings of S. Berwick, ME; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Brudzisz of Dexter, ME; her sisters, Doris Beals of Amesbury, MA, Marylou Taylor of Londonderry, NH, and June Leslie of Amesbury; and her very supported son-in-law, Kenneth Webster of Derry.

At the request of the family, all services will be private. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact and maintain social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or charity of one’s choice. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
