CLARE (MORSE) WING, 94, of Needham, formerly of Hingham, passed away on Tuesday, March 7th at the North Hill Skilled Nursing Facility in Needham. She was born in Sandwich, MA on October 13th, 1911. Clare was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music. She spent most of her life in Hingham where she lived with her late husband Paul Wing, Jr. who passed away in March of 2002. She played the organ at aeveral of the churches in Hingham and taught piano to dozens of children in the town. Her last two years were spent in the North Hill Skilled Nursing Facility.
She is survived by her two children, Paul Wing, III of Delmar, New York and Anne Wing Decker of Chestnut Hill; her four grandchildren, Daniel Wing of Delmar, NY, Matthew Wing of St. John, USVI, Rachel Decker Powers of Houston, TX and Nicole Decker Caulfield of Walpole; her three great grandchildren, Clare Caulfield, Neil Powers and Michael Caulfield. Also survived by her brother, Ralph E. Morse of Denmark, Maine.
The funeral services and interment are to be private. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
