Luciano Garcia Lopez, age 96, gently passed from this life surrounded by his beloved family. He was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico to Juan Garcia and Emilia Delgado. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 70 years, Tita Hernandez Lopez; his daughters, Sonia Marshall, Lourdes Caney and her husband Mike, Dolores Aponte and her husband Jose; 5 grandchildren, Daniel and David Aponte, Ian Marshall, Luke and Natalie Caney; 4 great grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, Haley Aponte and William Marshall and many nieces and nephews. He emigrated to the U.S. from P.R in 1953. He was employed by New England Container Co for many years and retired from Eastern Container Co in 1986. Luciano often said he was a Lucky man to have so much love in his life, but Papi, we were the Lucky ones to have had you in our lives. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 from 10-11 AM at Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by an in house Prayer Service at 11 AM.
