Audrey E. ‘Betty’ (Withey) Pelletier, 92 of Beverly, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Arthur L. Pelletier with whom she had shared 61 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Mary E. (Arundel) Withey. As a young woman she was employed in the offices of Sears & Roebuck in Salem. There, fellow workers formed a close knit circle of friends (The Sears Crowd) that socialized, outside of work, for many years. Audrey was also active with Arthur in the Richelieu Club meetings, special events and fund raising, She was a kind and gracious woman with a warm smile for everyone. Several years ago Audrey decided to downsize and moved to Turtle Woods where she enjoyed the varied activities with many new friends.
