Alida T. (Theroux) Peloquin, age 91, passed away on Nov. 1, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 16, 1929 in Holyoke, a daughter of the late Hermile and Alma B. (Blais) Theroux. Alida was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. She worked as a dental hygienist for several decades, including in Northampton, Springfield, and primarily in the Aldenville section of Chicopee, at the practice of Dr. Paul Thomas. She is predeceased by her son Mark D. Peloquin (1953), husband Arthur L. Peloquin (2015), grandson Samuel J. Peloquin (2011), and her sister Clarice (Theroux) Granger (2002). She leaves her 3 sons, Thomas B. Peloquin and his wife Betsy of Oxford, MI, Charles A. Peloquin and his wife Susan of Gainesville, FL and Douglas A. Peloquin and his wife Yvonne of Springfield. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 2 grandnieces and 2 great grandnephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise` Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by an in house Prayer Service at 11:00 AM.
