Obituary

It’s with great sadness we announce our loving daughter Kathleen Marie Murphy 59, of Sharon, passed away peacefully, Sunday November 1, 2020, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, following a long and valiant battle with cancer. Which she chose to fight privately.

Born July 13, 1961, at Milton Hospital a daughter of Robert P. Murphy, Sr. and Patricia M.(Sexton) Murphy of South Yarmouth, she was a resident of Sharon for the last ten years.

She was raised and educated in Dover and was an outstanding graduate of Skidmore College. Kathleen owned her own business for many years and was currently a project manager for Barrett Distribution where she was highly respected.

Kathleen was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed attending concerts and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her brothers, Robert P. Murphy, Jr. and his wife Mary of Wrentham and Ryan M. Murphy and his wife Melissa of Virginia.

Also surviving are her nieces & nephews, Robert P. Murphy, III, Mikayla A. Murphy, Michael J. Murphy and Margaret R. Murphy, aunts, uncles, cousins and a small circle of dear friends. She was also a friend to many.

Due to Covid-19, Kathleen’s funeral service and interment at Highland Cemetery in Dover, will be held privately.
