Obituary

Paulo Alexandre Dalomba passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2020. Paulo was born in Hyannis, Massachusetts on February 18, 1978. He grew up in Provincetown and attended Provincetown High School where he was a devoted hockey and soccer player. But Paulo’s true passion was his family and friends. His personality was magnetic and he prided himself on the friendships he made both instantaneous and lifelong.

In 2000 Paulo relocated to Plymouth where he lived downtown, in the heart of the town. This is where he created the foundation and home where he would remain until his death. Paulo was a local business owner and operator. He started Cape State Heating and employed locals, often helping those who were in need of work.

Paulo truly loved life. He would often be found spending time with friends, being the life of the party or entertaining at his home. His doors were always open and his generosity was unquantifiable. Paulo particularly loved the summer months where spending time at the beach on his boat or jet ski. Taking off 4-wheeling with friends were one of the highlights of his days. Paulo had an affinity for his toys and over the years amassed quite a collection of cars, water vehicles and motorcycles. They were his passion and what he prided himself on the most.

Paulo is survived by his loving mother and stepfather Maria and Carlos Silva of Provincetown, and his father and stepmother Isac Dalomba and Amelia Anjos of New Jersey. He also leaves his beloved sister Natalia Weiner and her husband Jeff of Harwich, his niece Julia, his nephews Sam and Zachary, and his step-sister Carla McGrath and her husband Garrett of Brewster, along with nephew Casen. His girlfriend, Annie Boccalini Luscko of Plymouth also survives him. Paulo had a tremendously large extended family with many aunts, uncles and cousins both in the US and Portugal. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him unconditionally and completely, and the many friends he had made over the years.

Calling hours for Paulo will be on Wednesday, November 4th from 4 to 6 pm at Gately Funeral Home, 94 Harry Kemp Way, Provincetown. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, public calling hours will restrict the number of people allowed in the room at one time, limiting conversations during visitation. Face coverings must be worn, social distancing must be honored and capacity regulations will be followed. A private funeral Mass for the family will be held Thursday at St. Peter the Apostle Church, Provincetown, followed by a private burial.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Paulo’s memory to the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless, 149 Bishops Hwy, Kingston, MA 02364. http://www.plymouthareacoalition.org/ .
