Rayshaun Pope,36, of Hartford formally of Cleveland, Ohio passed away suddenly on Sunday September 27,2020. He was born on February 7, 1984 son of Joe Johnson and Rachelle Pope of Cleveland. He was the husband of Shaniel Ellis-Pope. He leaves behind his children Dominique and Lia Pope. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, grandmother and his nieces and nephews. Rayshaun lived in Ct with his wife after he served in the US Army as a 91B. He went on to Licon Tech to become a chef and owned his own restaurant in Hartford. He earned his associates degree and was in school at Central Texas College for his bachelors degree in business. Rayshaun loved to cook play basketball and listen to music and work on his cars.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4pm in the chapel of the Hartford Community Funeral Home 380 Maple Avenue, Hartford. His burial will be held in Cleveland, Ohio.
