Debra Anne Sommer, 48, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Rev. Bobby Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services.
Ms. Sommer was born August 20, 1957, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Grady B. and Rachel Spires Taylor. She lived in Ocilla for the past year from Fitzgerald. Ms. Sommer was a former employee of Ben Hill County. She was a loving mother and good friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters: Jenny Thomas and Billy Jo Brown and their father, Steven Sommer, all of Savannah; 5 grandchildren: Adessa Thomas, Makayla Thomas, Joey Bell, Connie Brown and Chrissy Brown; 3 sisters: Marilyn Russ of Wilcox County, Melody Stilwell and Cindy Jeffery, both of Ben Hill County. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kim Taylor.
