Gregory M. Gonsalves “Gonzy”, 39, of Franklin, passed away on Friday October 23, 2020. Born on April 1, 1981 in Stoughton MA, Greg was a longtime resident of Franklin MA.
Greg was a devoted father and loving partner. His priorities were always his family and friends and his presence was known as soon as he entered a room. His work ethic was a testament to his determination to care for those that he loved.
He was a Foreman for Marguerite Concrete, employed for 17 years. He was a proud member of Boston Cement Masons Local 534.
As a sports enthusiast, if the Red Sox or Patriots were on, he was watching. Greg’s love and commitment to his family and friends showed in the way he always there when someone needed him.
In addition to the love of his life, Laura E. Leary, he is survived by his parents, Susan E. Gonsalves and Gary M. Gonsalves of Franklin, his children Sean, Brielle and Jaxon Gonsalves of Franklin, his sibling Deanna Liberti and her husband Bryan Liberti of Milford, and his niece Hannah Gonsalves of Milford, his nephews Wyatt and Nolan Behrer of Franklin and many aunts, uncles and cousins will who miss him dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday Oct. 29th at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funreal Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square at 10AM. You may view the Mass by clicking the link stmarysfranklin.org
Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8PM, due to COVID-19 face coverings and social distancing are required. Also please be mindful when attending the wake of your time spent inside the funeral home as many of "Gonzy" family and friends will want to pay their respects.
