In Easton, Thomas “Tom” Gero, Age 57, passed away suddenly on October 14, 2020. Tom was the loving husband to Nancy (DaCosta) Gero for over 25 years. He was also a great dad to his dogs Jake and Sammy. He leaves behind one brother and one sister, and one nephew, Sean.
Tom was employed as a commercial truck driver for Land and Sea Company in Easton. He was very hard working and dedicated. During his spare time, Tom and his wife Nancy enjoyed doing martial arts, for over twenty years. He attained his black belt in one martial arts style and recently switched to another school, where he was well on his way towards another black belt. He also loved to cook on his grill.
Tom was a wonderful friend and sponsor to many people, especially in the local AA community, where he found support to maintain his own sobriety for over thirty years.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please donate funds and/or support to Alcoholics Anonymous in the name of Thomas Gero. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
