Lucille Ann Tonello (DiPaola) passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family. She was 95. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Grampietro) DiPaola. Lucille moved to Malden with her family for a brief time, but always considered Medford to be her home.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lucille was active in the community. She and her husband Joseph had a wonderful life together. They enjoyed travelling and spending time with family and friends. For over 33 years she was a traffic supervisor for the City of Medford. She was dedicated to the children of the community and got to know each of the kids on her corner by name. Over the years, Lucille showed special concern for the children who might need a walk home or a hand getting settled in the house when their parents were out. To this day she is fondly remembered for her kindly was and devotion.

The beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Tonello, who passed away in 1998, she was a devoted mother to Joseph J. Tonello, Jr. and his wife Ellen, and Mark Tonello and his wife Lisa.
