Stephen F. Gillis, lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away suddenly, Thursday, October 22nd. He was 67 years of age. He was the cherished son of the late Allan and Ruth (Livermore) Gillis.
Stephen was raised and spent most of his life in Woburn. He was a hard worker and spent many years, as an operations manager for the Woburn Vending Company. An avid football fanatic, he enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, and loved riding everywhere and any where on his motorcycle.
Stephen was the devoted father of Matthew and Andrew Gillis. He was the dear brother of Catherine Deschene and her husband Bob, Daniel Gillis, Michael Gillis and the late Richard Gillis. He was the caring uncle of Joseph, Kerri and Michael Swenson, and the former husband of Debra Gillis and Pat Mignon.
