Danny Hernandez (57) of Brockton died October 21st in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.
He was born in South Bronx, New York, son of Iraida (Concepcion) Rodriguez and husband Ralph and the late Daniel Hernandez. Danny was an automotive mechanic and really enjoyed working on cars especially his Pontiac Firebird. He loved all sports including the New York Yankees, his family and grandchildren and was known as a religious man.
In addition to his mother and stepfather he is survived by 2 sons, Erik and Joseph Hernandez-Travers both of Brockton, 2 brothers, Rico Rodriguez and Kenny Hernandez both of Brockton, 2 sisters, Freda Chapman of Washington and Sonia Ortiz of North Attleboro, his long time companion Sharon Travers and 5 grandchildren, Ava, Logan, Nora, Aaron Joesph and Mya.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday October 28th from 5-8 pm. Cremation to follow.
