Robert F. Goulet, 78, of New Bedford died October 17, 2020 at his son's home in Wareham.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late George J. and Cecile (Major) Goulet, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed by Carol Cable for 20 years and later with Rothchild Manufacturing in Fall River.
He enjoyed Country Western dancing and bowling.
Survivors include 2 sons, Paul Goulet and his fiancée Bonnie Winkfield of Wareham and David Goulet and his wife Monique of Fairhaven; a daughter, Sheilla Johanson and her husband Deane of Fairhaven; 7 brothers and sisters, Rita Halle of California, Claire Rose of California, Jeanne Vermette of Florida, Leona LaVoie of Attleboro, Pauline St. Pierre of Westport, Madeline Goulet of Lakeville and Conrad Goulet of Osterville; 7 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather of the late Alyssa Lee Goulet and the Brother of the late Gerard Goulet.
His Memorial Service will be held on Monday October 26, 2020 at 12 Noon in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
