Eschol Graham “Mac” McDaniel, 94, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at his son’s residence in Bonaire. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Tift Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley and the Rev. Kevin Dawson officiating. Mr. McDaniel will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Tift Avenue Church of God from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Mr. McDaniel will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Born March 8, 1926, Mr. McDaniel was the son of the late John Henry McDaniel and Mary Hatfield McDaniel. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Gill McDaniel; his second wife, Ira Wheelis Clements McDaniel; seven brothers; and three sisters. He retired from the Tifton Fire Department and he was a member of Tift Avenue Church of God. He enjoyed hunting.
Mr. McDaniel is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Marica McDaniel of Bonaire; and his special friend, Margie Coleman of Tifton.
