Arcadio "Chippa" Navarro, Jr., 61, of New Bedford died Friday, October 16, 2020 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Sheila Mae Pires.
Born in New York, son of the late Arcadio Navarro and Hilda Moreno-Ramos, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was employed by Global Movers for many years.
Chippa enjoyed working on cars, animals, joking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; five children, Arcadio Navarro, III, Luzestel Navarro, Yasmin Navarro, Elisa Navarro, and Arcadio Navarro, Jr.; seven step-children, Leroy, Ursula, Keisha, Shana, Robert, Trahan, and Olivia; his brother, Raymond Navarro; two sisters, Luz Amaro and Ana Rivera; and many grandchildren.
