João A. Coutinho, age 68, of São Vicente/Cape Verde, passed away on October 15, 2020, in Fall River, USA. He was the husband of Valentina (Silva) Coutinho, and the son of the late Adelaide (Valeriana) Coutinho. João loved spending time with his beloved family, learning new things; he had a passion for reading and passing on his knowledge to others. He liked talking about politics and hated injustice.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: João (John) Coutinho, Adelaide Coutinho, Claudia Coutinho-Monteiro and Carlos Coutinho; and his grandchildren: Esmeralda Coutinho, Yasmin Coutinho, Patricia Coutinho, Geovanny Coutinho Lima, Jaclyn Coutinho, Allana Coutinho, Leonel Coutinho Monteiro, Elijah Coutinho and Nia Coutinho.
His calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, October 23rd from 5-8 P.M.
