Ruben Manuel Furtado (28) of Brockton died unexpectedly at home on October 14th. He was the husband of Ludmila (Moreno) Furtado of Boston.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde. Ruben was the son of Jose Furtado and Grace (Barros) Furtado both of Brockton. He worked for Bob’s Furniture Company as a delivery driver and enjoyed listening to music, a good seafood meal and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by his daughter Shanel Furtado of Brockton, his grandparents, Francisca Fernandez of Brockton and Joaoquin Teixeira of Cabo Verde, 3 sisters, Kateline Furtado of Brockton, Estefania Baessa Furtado of Cabo Verde and Eliseba Furtado of Brockton, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday October 23rd at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Visitation in the Funeral Home Thursday October 22nd from 6-9 pm.
