Barbara A. Alex, 84, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Hathaway Manor. She was the daughter of the late Stanley B. and Amy D. (Borden) Alex.
Miss Alex was born in Fall River and had resided in Tiverton for most of her life, later moving to Westport where she was for 15 years before relocating to New Bedford. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a cloth inspector for various mills in the Fall River area. She enjoyed attending the Westport Council on Aging where she could play word search, BINGO and socialize with friends. She was a member of Amicable Congregational Church, Tiverton.
She is survived by nieces Cheryl E. Smith of Tiverton and Cynthia G. Cioe of Barrington..
