Mary Alice Towery Pulley, age 75, of Roxboro, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She was born December 9, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Thomas Roland Towery and the late Edna Jarrell Towery.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church at Timberlake and a retired Tobacco Grader for the US Department of Agriculture.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Wayne Dickerson; brother, Wayne Towery; and sister, Betty Jo Jackson.
Mary Alice is survived by her son, Anthony Hatcher (Sandra) of Amelia, VA; grandchild, Rennie Hatcher; sister, Jane Gentry (Frankie) of Roxboro, NC; brother, Gerald Towery (Linda) of Warrenton, VA; sister-in-law, Patsy Towery; nieces and nephews, Regina Dodson, Keith Towery, Karen Pittard, Mark Towery, and Andy Newcomb; and many co-workers and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 12, 2020 at Friendship United Methodist Church, 25619 Hwy 49, Chase City, VA 23924.
