New Bedford – Mario dos Santos, age 84, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Jose (Dinis) dos Santos.
Born in Cova, Portugal he was the son of the late Mario dos Santos Agostinho and Rosa Pereira Abad. Mario had been a fisherman for many years.
He is survived by his his wife Treza Cabral and his nephew Alberto dos Santos.
Mario’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Perry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering at all times, to practice social distancing of 6 feet and to please refrain from any close physical contact. Attendance in the funeral home will be limited in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions and could result with a wait time outside of the funeral home.
