Edward Francis Higgins, Jr. 70, of Medway died October 9 in Milford Regional Hospital following a brief illness. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Johnson) Lynn.
Born in Milford, February 23, 1950, the son of the late Edward F. and Margaret E. (Dore) Higgins, Mr. Higgins had lived for most of his life in Medway.
He was a 1968 graduate of Medway High School.
Edward had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years in Millis before retiring.
Mr. Higgins had served in the Army during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of SP 4. In his spare time Ed enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters Katie and Emily Higgins of Arizona. He is also survived by his sister Donna Higgins of Burlington.
Mr. Higgins service will be privately held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
