Igor Kennedy Mendes (25) of New Bedford died October 5th tragically in a motorcycle accident in Rhode Island. He was the husband of Katia Teixeira.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde, son of Cesar Pereira of France and Maria S. Mendes Lopes of Cabo Verde. Igor was a truck driver for a delivery company and loved sports cars, riding his motorcycle and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday October 10th from 5-8 pm. Burial to follow next week in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde.
