Obituary

Patricia Jean “Patti” Rogers Hale, 65, of Brookfield passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, in Fort Payne, Alabama. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at New River Holiness Church in Berrien County with the Rev. Dean Bowling, the Rev. Tony Blevins and the Rev. Nick Hensley officiating. Mrs. Hale will be laid to rest at New River Holiness Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at New River Holiness Church in Berrien County. Food will be received at New River Holiness Church in Berrien County after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.

Mrs. Hale’s grandsons, Gaven Hale, Brayden Johnson and Davin Johnson, as well as Dakota Bowling, Dion Hale and Clay Connell, will serve as pallbearers.

Born July 26, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mrs. Hale was the daughter of the late Alvy Rogers and Alberta Dotson Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Bruce Hale; two sisters, Judy Blevins and her husband, L. D. Blevins and Kathy Bagwell; and in-laws, Terry Hale, Alvin Hale and Faye Hale. She was a homemaker and a member of New River Holiness Church in Berrien County.

Mrs. Hale is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Lewis and Heather Hale of Fort Payne, Alabama and Frederick Douglas Hale of Tifton; a brother-in-law, Robert Bagwell of Fort Payne, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Gaven Hale, Brayden Johnson, Davin Johnson, Alexus Hale, Kace Hale, Wesley Chapman, Daniel Chapman and Breely Chapman; and in-laws, Glenda Hale, Larry and Darlene Hale, Charles and Joan Connell, Rhonda Hale and Calvin Hale.
