West Brookfield- Selliomeja “Selma” (Stepanauskas) Burdulis, 96, of West Brookfield, formerly of 23 Mendon St., Worcester, passed away peacefully Friday, March 3, in her home.
Her husband of 62 years, Jonas Burdulis, died in 2001. She leaves a son, Vytautas Burdulis of West Brookfield; three daughters, Birute S. “Bret” Burdulis and Albina J. Burdulis, both of West Brookfield, and Liona Burdulis of Camden, Maine; a granddaughter, Rima G. Bueno of Minneapolis, Minnesota; nephews and nieces. She was born in Lithuania, daughter, of Juozas and Ursule (Dominikaite) Stepanauskas and moved to Worcester in 1950, where she lived for many years before moving to West Brookfield.
Mrs. Burdulis was a housekeeper at St. Vincent Hospital for more than 20 years, before retiring in 1974.
She was a member of St. Casimir Parish, Worcester, the Lithuanian National Guard, and the Lithuanian Charitable Society, Shrewsbury.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 7, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 6, in the funeral home.
