Obituary

Ms. Lisa Lorraine Morgan was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica on June 21, 1970 to parents Gloria Watson and Paul Morgan. Lisa immigrated to Cambridge, MA in 1984. She attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School where she excelled academically and socially. She was a member of the Black Student Union and 1986 Cambridge Rindge & Latin Girls Division1 State Champion Track and Field Team.

After high school Lisa attended Boston College where she was President of the Caribbean Culture Club. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and upon graduation Lisa moved to New York where she maintained a career in finance and earned a Real Estate license. She had a successful career in wealth, investments and financial management. With this knowledge and experience she was able to provide her family a blueprint to improve their current and future financial aspirations.

Lisa was kind and always willing to help others. For years she volunteered serving food at a homeless shelter during the holidays. Last Thanksgiving, she along with a younger cousin delivered meals to the elderly. She believed in helping others in whatever way she could. She was high energy had a thirst for knowledge and a strong belief in the power of education to open doors to upward mobility. She was small in stature but a powerhouse in personality heart and drive.

Lisa, leaves to cherish memories: mother Gloria Watson, father Paul Morgan, siblings; Marvalyn, Howard, Kirk, Junior, Georgia and Barbara, her beloved nieces and nephews; Chanda, Terry Ann, Talia, Jaidon, Rylan, Jazmyn, Madisyn and Marlon, her aunts Linda, and Paulette, uncles Renil, and Headley and a host of cousins, including Lamiah & Jaaziah who she was instrumental in helping them learn valuable life lessons. Her influence will live on forever.
