Obituary

Peter N. LaBelle, 53, of Webster died Tuesday, September 22nd in St. Vincent’s Hospital. He leaves his wife of 28 years, Diane M. (Baltrusaites) LaBelle; his mother, Marie H. (Perreault) LaBelle of Worcester; two sons, Anthony P. LaBelle and his wife, Stevie of Hubbardston, and Brian J. LaFleche of Webster; three daughters, Brittany M. Preston and her husband, Joshua of Putnam, CT, Elizabeth Cavalieri and her husband, Chris of Phoenix, AZ and Taylor D. LaBelle of Webster; a brother, Ernest LaBelle and his wife, Christina of Barre, VT; two sisters, Judith Collins and her partner, James Williams of Oxford, and Laura Stafford of Worcester; and eight grandchildren, Isabel, Aiden, Hunter, Kenzie, Cody, Emma, Willow and Charlotte; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his favorite sister-in-law Debbie Rankin.
He was predeceased by his father, Ernest A. LaBelle and his sister, Barbara LaBelle.

Peter was born in Worcester and graduated from South High School. He worked as a limo driver for Bull Hound Transportation and previously worked as a taxi driver for KC Rides and CITCO Gas for ten years. Peter loved fishing at Woods Hole on Cape Cod, watching NASCAR, building model cars, cheering on the New England Patriots and his three dogs, Frankie, Chico and Peanut. Peter will always be remembered for his generous nature and that his family is what was most important to him. His proudest achievement was being "papa" to his grandchildren and he made sure to never miss a single moment or event for them.

He was always there for everyone and gave so much to all those who loved him.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester. Social Distancing and the use of face masks that cover the nose and mouth will be part of the protocol at all of Peter’s services. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
