Kaitlyn Drew Edson, 31, of Westport passed away peacefully on Friday September 18, 2020.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Keith C. and Margaret M. (Foster) Edson, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life. She was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technnical High School.
Kaitlyn was well-known for her sense of humor. She was happiest when spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents; her brother, Tyler Edson; her grandmothers, Patricia Foster and Juanita Carnes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was the granddaughter of the late Alfred Foster and Robert Edson.
Her visitation will be held on Sunday September 27, 2020 from 1-3 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Attendees must wear a mask and practice social distancing and avoid any close contact. Guests will be permitted to pay their respects and depart to allow the next guests to enter.
