Obituary

John C. Rubino, of Franklin, Massachusetts, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 84.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 21, 1936, to parents Charles and Anna (Bernardone) Rubino. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Camille, his three children, Steven (Betsy), John (Sharyn),and Marissa (Shawn),and his eight grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Alex, Emily, Justin, Lucas, Zachary and Madison, and his brother in law, Ali Caner and sister in law, Rosemarie Rubino.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Caner, and his brother, Frank Rubino.

John lived much of his adult life in West Nyack, Rockland County, New York, before moving to Franklin in 2010. He spent most of his professional life as an editorial manager for both Life Magazine and Time Life, in New York City. He lived every moment of his life for his family. He was one of a kind and was loved and adored. He will forever live in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday Sept. 25th, at 8AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 9AM.

Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery Nanuet, New York.

Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.

Face coverings and social distancing at the funeral home and church are required.
